I am trying to create some lathe programs that have canned cycles in them. The problem is, the posts don’t have sequence (block) numbers. You can insert the numbers with the post editor, but this doesn’t work when the program has canned cycles calling for specific block numbers. I don’t have this problem with mill programs. I’m using X3. Any help would be appreciated.

Posts should be easily be able to insert block numbers.
For your issue I'd suggest using low block numbers for your macros, say N0001 to N0500 or somesuch and setting the posts to start with block number N1000 or so. You might also consider only adding bock numbers every 10 blocks or so & incrementing block numbers by 1 rather than the more usual 10 (if you are to be doing no MDI editing at the control) for your main programs.
